Banditos – “Healin’ Slow”

Birmingham/Nashville-based six-piece Banditos shared some of their latest material live at SXSW back in March, and today we hear the band’s mellowed-out country single “Healin’ Slow.” The five-minute slow jam saunters in with vocalist Mary Beth Richardson’s rich crooning and subdued string arrangements before picking up steam half way through in a culmination of full-bodied sounds and feelings. “Healin’ Slow” is off of the band’s sophomore record, Visionland, which is due out in June and follows up the Banditos’ 2015 self-titled debut. Notable road warriors, the band recorded at Plum Creek Sound Studios with producers Israel Nash and Ted Young, bringing to the table an apex of their personal experiences in the past few years.
