Earlier today we reported on the forthcoming Smashing Pumpkins DVD, but we’ve spent much more time talking about new song “G.L.O.W.” Well, it finally hit the airwaves — which means the radio beat Guitar Hero to the premiere. (For the record it still isn’t this, though the “Tarantula” video did get that wrestling remix.) Any good? It rocks more than most of what we’ve come to expect from late-period Pumpkins, but it’s not as heavy or psychedelic or weird as “Superchrist.” Also, it’s a radio rip, so temper your expectations accordingly:

It does sound like Billy’s blood’s pumping, at least.

  1. Good, but not great.

I actually thought ‘Zeitgiest’ wasn’t that bad – there are some really awesome songs on it – eg. ‘Bring the Light’. Shame about the drivel like ‘Starz’ and ‘United States’, though.

  2. Hmmm…no audio, odd.

I’m the one who uploaded the video, and i took it down. The audio quality is horrible, and there are much better versions floating around. There have been for a long time. Please don’t base your judgment of the song on this low quality audio.
