The Yours Truly crew that videotaped the benders’ breakout moment took a field trip to Barcelona last year to catch ascendent beach-baked beat makers Delorean in their home town and band space, stitching together selects for another intimate, insightful documentary/performance. You’ll remember we’ve gone on and on about what this band can do live, so this is both a nice exhibition and reveal of how they work their magic. An interview with thoughts on their process and pop “musical competition,” camera work focusing on the hands that arrange their luminous and temperately textured dance music, this video’s got it all. All except an audience to engage in the now obligatory crowd surfing. Watch it below, and grab a remix of another Subiza track, “Stay Close,” by Sun Airway.
