But what are you gonna do, not listen? Arcade Fire just addressed a postcard to “The Internet” last week, so they already know you’ll be all over all six seconds of this. Click on and spin the digital 12″. Sounds like indie piano bars might have a new jam on their hands.
The singles are out 6/1.

cool
Okay, I’ll admit it, I was never ‘not’ going to listen, and so I did, by clicking the obligatory small forward arrow button for PLAY – and I liked what I heard – A LOT – and then it seemed to just keep looping on forever and when I finally clicked that button again to pause, it did the whole ‘sound of the needle lifting up off the record’ thing and I instinctively dragged the cursor up to said vinyl record and…lo and behold, it’s interactive!!! Damn you Arcade Fire, you’ve done it again – always giving us these completely awesome little web 2.0 nuggets with your interactive videos and what not – this is completely cool – already working on my scratches and remixes to the 6 second version of The Suburbs – nice job! Oh, and looking forward to all the rest!
Oh shit, if you scroll it backwards, he sings “Regine is dead”.
Whoa, you’re right!

It would be pretty sweet if “The Suburds” is the first single off the album, and it really is only 6 seconds long.
Month of May sounds like it’s going to be fantastic. Can’t wait for this album.
Wow. Way to whet the ever living crap out of my appetite. Genius. Can’t wait!
“Month of May” sounds like “We’re From America” by Marilyn Manson.

Neat little thing they have with spinning the record. Although I wish we got more than just a little piano and whatever else jam.
