White Hinterland Promo 2010

We’ve noted Casey Dienel’s move toward a denser electro realm on White Hinterland’s third album Kairos, so her decision to cover Neon Indian’s “6669 (I Don’t Know If You Know)” shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s icier than the original and that promo photo finds her submerged in rippling water, but it’s not exactly chillwave.
