Weekend – “Coma Summer”

Deep thoughts: Is a “Coma Summer” anything like a “Deadbeat Summer“? You’d think so, but not really. Noisy San Francisco post-punk trio Weekend release their debut full-length/double LP Sports on Slumberland this fall — you almost can’t go wrong with a band that name-checks Skullflower and Terminal Cheesecake in their bio. (Almost…) Either way, you won’t be surprised to learn they’ve played (and will play) with A Place To Bury Strangers.

Weekend – “Coma Summer”

Sports is out 11/9 via Slumberland. They also have a sold-out 10″ via Mexican Summer and sold-out split 7″ with Young Prisms via Transparent.
