Jason Molina offered up the “It’s Made Me Cry” 7″ as a limited-edition Record Store Day Exclusive. If you didn’t get a chance to grab one of the 1,000 copies, or if you just want to double-up, the “It’s Made Me Cry” digital EP’s out today. In addition to the short and sad little title track, you’ll also get “Protection Spell,” “Rock Of Ages,” and “The Compass, The Candle, The Bell.” They were all recorded last fall before their U.S. tour. As with the 7″, all benefits from the digital sale go to the Evan Farrell Memorial Fund, which was set up for the two sons of the former Rogue Wave bassist, who died from injuries sustained in a house fire a couple years back. For now, take a listen to the song that gives the EP its name over at HypeM. There’s a lot crammed into its minute and change.
