Annie where have you been? It’s been like three-and-half-years since Anniemal first dropped but whatever you read that right and it’s understandable if you’re “Heartbeat” started racing: Annie’s back with a new track. And surprise, it’s a scoop of playful dancefloor pop ala “Chewing Gum.” It’s good! Albeit not quite as good. (Sample lyric: “I know your girlfriend hates me/I see it in her eyes/The way she looks like right at me/it happens every time.” How is that to compare with “Oh no, oh no, you’ve got it all wrong/You think you’re chocolate when you’re chewing gum.”?)
