L.A. producer Nosaj Thing offers compellingly deep, stuttered, and fractured compositions. You’ll find various examples on his recently released Drift full-length or via “FWD,” his brief, enjoyable contribution to the forthcoming Beat Dimensions 2 compilation. It reminds me of the Knife diced up and then stripped down. Feels weird to be posting it in the morning when it’s so clearly there to soundtrack a dizzy moment in your tonight.
