Washed Out’s Ernest Greene lives in Georgia these days, but if feels right to keep mentioning Columbia, South Carolina, maybe because it’s not often you can place a bedroom-psych “movement” in Columbia, South Carolina. Whatever the case, Greene gets remixed by friend and current Columbia resident Toro Y Moi, aka Chaz Bundick, for the B-Side of the “Feel It All Around” single. Bundick chills the song out some more by integrating approximately 10cc’s of laid-back, shadowy funkiness: You get 17 additional seconds to take a dip. Both versions go well with the sun-dappled cover art.

The “Feel It All Around” single’s out 10/5 physically via Pure Groove and as a download via Transparent.

It’s like if you’re in a candle lit or sunset lit room and then somebody flicks on a flourescent overhead light…ouch!…Weather Channel bass kills the vibe…Talking Book is the model…

the cover art reminds of the ‘girls – lust for life’ single. Its probably just the white helvetica font.
