Dayve Hawk, aka Memory Tapes/Cassette, followed a pair of EPs with a proper full-length debut Seek Magic. We posted the collection’s energized, but frosty bedroom pop anthem “Plain Material,” which unexpectedly reminded me of Flaming Lips. Hawk goes in a different direction with the funky Saturday Night Fever swirl of “Green Knight,” another Seek gem.

loved Weird Tapes and am looking forward to getting this… although the free track is a little slower and more muzak-ish than Weird Tapes. I also heart the album cover.
