I’ll go to bat for Chocolate and Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking, certified jams in my book
This festival consistently has one of my favorite lineups of the year, especially that cancelled 2015 one. This one looks packed, and the venue change sounds promising, consider me stoked
It's hard to call a QOTSA song from the SFTD album underrated, but I haven't really noticed the title song getting a ton of attention and was surprised to see it at one, but that thing's an absolute stomper, so no disagreement.
Whoops, same person, just login fuckery.
Guilty pleasure? Come on, their first 2 records had a ton of solid songs on them.
The National with guitar solos work, but 3 months until the album? Jesus, killing me.
Man, that Joan Shelley record, her stuff is almost always good to great.
A lot of this style of music can sometimes sound very sameish to me, but she consistently kills it. Beautiful stuff
This song's definitely a jam, but this video, I love it. A full-of-personality Haley Williams just totally makes this, as does the rest of the guys.
Whoever's picking the music for the show is killing it, especially when that Radiohead song came on and the little bit towards the end hit. Holy shitballs indeed.
If it's even a quarter as infections as supernatural was, I'm sold.
That whole record's a monster, definitely deserve the attention.
Right from Real had some crazy solid songs on it. Very excited for this one.
They need to release something just to get a new episode of U Talkin' U2 to Me? It's been too long. But new music doesn't hurt either.
Of course, their music's too good for the rest of the Stereogum world not to know it.
Glad to see Feist is up to something. Hopefully this means some new music soon.
Here's Your Future's by the Thermals for that short organ/guitar build up, but your answer's objectively correct.
Agreed with that beach baby album. It's nothing too innovative, but it's everything a funnish album should be. Those dudes definitely know what they're doing.
That's kind of surprsing. Moth to a Flame was a pretty album to go out on though.
