I live in Palm Springs and this is totally on point.
Brutal. Still trying to digest it all.
What a fantastic interview. As a huge Tori fan, I could say that Boys for Pele is my all time favorite album of hers. It resonates within me today as it did back then. That album is full of outstanding gems but my favorite tracks are Doughnut Song, Putting the Damage On, Horses, Not the Red Baron and Father Lucifer. Actually, there isn't a bad song on this album.
As someone myself who suffers from depression and anxiety, I completely understand and feel his pain. I applaud Cudi for being proactive against his fragile mental health. Kid Cudi: I know you will never read this but I hope you know that you are not alone in this world. It may seem bleak at times, where all hope has been washed away. However, that is far from the truth. Rely on the ones who truly love and support you. Believe in yourself to find your way out of the darkness. YOU ARE WORTH IT. It will get better. I promise.
I think Trent and Atticus' work is stellar and can't wait for all the disturbingly beautiful vibes they'll contribute.
My favorite Tori album and in my top 5 all time favorite albums. So glad we will finally be able to hear To The Fair Motor Maids of Japan.
Hell has frozen over!!!!
I like his collab with Shlohmo. That whole No More EP was and still is my jam.
When Horsepower comes on, I feel like I'm walking into an arena and that's my theme song.
I'm sitting in my auditing class and I'm hiding my laughter too. I'm going to use "potato" in my course evaluation.
I've seen a full back Tori Amos tattoo once, but I digress.
I was on the cusp of 15 when this came out and Soundgarden was my absolute favorite band back in the day. I was absolutely crushed when they broke up, thinking that the world had ended. I think that Down on the Upside is one of Soundgarden's finer albums and while Boot Camp is a fantastic song, my favorite song off the album is Zero Chance. Side note: I would dare say that Chris has the finest voice living but a close second to Jeff Buckley. I'm so glad that they were great admirers of each other.
I think I like the album version a bit better. California is my 8 year old's favorite song off the album so we'll see how she likes this version.
Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella is a sad looking casino.
I thought RTJ topped the night but then came Vince Staples.
