Philly duo Reading Rainbow dropped this harmonized and hook-filled 77-second guitar/drum jammer in our inbox yesterday, the first properly mixed track from a 12-song full-length the band just finished taping this past weekend in Virginia. They says it’s the shortest from a set that follows up the 7″ recently released via Crocodiles’ Brandon Welchez and Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls’ Zoo Music label. This cut from Rob Garcia and Sarah Everton’s forthcoming LP is “way cleaner [than “Restless“] but still analog.” They’re looking for a label to release this record, so labels looking to release records, let us do your work for you.
Reading Rainbow – “Underground” (MP3)
Artwork by Sarah Everton. You can catch ‘em at SXSW, and hopefully soon they’ll have a label lined up so we can hear the rest.
