The truth is that none of us have any idea about what’s going on on the other side of the paparazzo’s lens. For example, sure it looks Shia LaBeouf is carrying the groceries for his girlfriend Mia Goth in this set of photos, but maybe that’s just how his hands look? Or maybe he bought a pair of weighted gloves that look like grocery bags because he’s training for something, or whatever? And sure it looks like Adam Lambert is pumping gas in West Hollywood while wearing a “Rich Fashion Advisory Explicit Content” tank top, but who is Adam Lambert? Sure it looks like Katherine Heigl is not having a particularly good lunch, or maybe IS having a particularly good lunch and just likes to practice her funny faces and the other person is just eating it up, but maybe she’s not even EATING LUNCH. Maybe it’s brunch! Or dinner. She’s drinking in one of the photos which maybe rules out breakfast, but also you never know! Maybe it had been a hard day pre-breakfast! You just never know. Which is why you have to caption it.
