Former Feeding People frontwoman Jessie Jones began singing with Death Valley Girls last year to find her sense of self again. She found it and is ready to release her self-titled solo debut later this month with Fullerton, CA based Burger Records. We premiered the first psychedelic weirdo-pop single off of her upcoming album earlier this year. The second single, “Lady La De Da,” has trippy uses of violin harmonics and deep sliding strings. Jones has an honest, soulful voice; it seems like she opened the door to a jangly psychedelic past and embraced it. Listen.
