Former One Directioner Harry Styles is releasing his sophomore solo album, Fine Line, next month. Last night, he pulled double duty as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. His opening monologue was about how serious he is as a performer.
He debuted a new song from Fine Line on SNL called "Watermelon Sugar," and shared the studio version of it shortly afterward. And he performed "Lights Up," the album's previously released lead single.
Styles also appeared in a bunch of skits throughout the night: one where he does a vaudeville act, another where he plays Aidy Bryant's new boyfriend, and others where he plays an an intern and an Instagram manager.
