We did not get new Wrens music today, but we did get For All The Dogs at 6AM (woof). Savor it because Drake says he's about to take a year off to deal with crazy stomach problems.

Are you thinking this is polyamory? This is just a rich guy impregnating as many women as he can because he thinks he is smart and will have smart children.

Usually the sentence for Contempt of Cop is death, accompanied by a colleague yelling "Gun!" for the recording to offer plausible deniability.

Both John Lydon and Morrissey are examples of sharp, insightful wits consumed by bitterness over the years. What was initially refreshing about their broadsides has curdled into petty, sometimes ugly, score settling. That said, I wouldn't wish what Lydon endured when caring for his wife Nora as she succumbed to Alzheimer's on anyone. For that alone I wish Lydon some genuine happiness in his remaining years.

P.S. TNOCS, I'm preparing a series on TNOCS.com based on Tom's column that I'm pretty excited about. It should roll out next week. What are the biggest artists in the Billboard Top 100 (since 1958) who have NEVER been mentioned by Tom at all? Not in passing, not in connection with any artist who had a #1, nothing. I count down the Top 10 after explaining the criteria. I hope you'll join me.

People get really caught up in Cardi's employ of the English language, as if the presentation of her words inherently diminishes the value of what she has to say. It always reeks of racism and xenophobia; forms of gatekeeping that seem to functionally say "you should not even be allowed to talk." Her logic is almost always sound, if you simply look at the points she is trying to make. Expressing yourself in a particular way doesn't make you dumb, the content of your argument is what does that trick. Not everything can be used as a way to boost one's own sense of value at the expense of another, especially a woman, if life itself isn't providing the boost. Anyway, I like that Cardi is thoughtful about FDR's contributions to the United States. A lot of positive change occurred under his time in office.
