Previously posted Two Thousands and Ten Injuries tracks “Kungen” and “Repetition” showed off new sides to Love Is All’s sound. But for me, album opener “Bigger Bolder” shows their best side. The punk rock drum opening and harmonized guitars invites a surface comparison to The Strokes’ “Last Nite” but singer is Josephine Olausson is all commitment where Julian Casablancas was all apathy: “There’s no point trying to sound smart / I simply hate every minute that we’re apart.” She sounds smart.
