starring in elizabethtown 2: scrapbook of secrets with nicolas cage and gabe delahaye.
i am GREEN with jealous rage right now.
schmidt calling it "heimlich's maneuver" instead of "the heimlich maneuver" was VERY funny to me for some reason.
step 1. braid hair step 2. try to resist making a south park "??? -> profit" reference step 3. fail step 4. ??? step 5. profit
blanche from hausu is my favorite blanche. more so than blanche devereaux, even. #blanche
the evil dead remake used all practical effects and it all looked so great and it mad me so mad. quit it with all the cgi, ya hollywood bozos!
the knights of prosperity have really fallen on hard times. (i'm the only person in the world who remembers the knights of prosperity, right?)
uhh, kind of a nightmare, actually! i work a really long morning shift today, and i got suckered into unloading a HUGE truck filled with pallets of shelves and fixtures all day, and i am EXHAUSTED. now i am on my lunch and chuckling to myself because the place i'm eating is playing that stupid lumineers song, and i just keep picturing will ferrel as harry caray. after work i think i am going to pick up the black beetle hardcover that comes out today on my way home (despite being kind of broke) because i haven't bought an comics in a while and i think i earned it today.

curing patient zero of black vein disease is like killing the head vampire, i guess?
as a goth kid, i can confirm that yes, it is.
voyage of the dawn of the dead-treader
witch cassidy and the gravedance kid
what's eating gilbert grape? (zombies!)
or when they're all just from some dumb randos on twitter?
i suggested tucker & dale vs. evil in the original spooky movie club thread. it's so fun!
i think the "hell lord" one was supposed to be the fake pinhead/cenobite with the puzzle sphere.
i think the one that just says "kevin" is my favorite. (also, the one that just straight up says "deadites," which i did not notice while watching the movie.
i liked that the point of impact where he crashed into the holodeck was like thirty feet off the ground. that was quite a motorcycle jump for having no ramp and like ten feet of build-up, thor!
fran kranz was immediately my favorite character, but then i remembered that i was watching a horror movie, so i was like "r.i.p. goofy comic relief, you were an angel that marijuana'd too close to the sun," but then he was the Final Girl the whole time! #twists
i keep reading this as "bradley whitford without a mustache!"
one could argue that not caring about any of the dumb teens was intentional, as it falls in line with the horror movie cliches being satirized, but i see your point. i agree that the ending kind of fell flat, but i would hardly call it a "twist" in the m. night shyamalan sense. this would be a great series, as long as we get and episode devoted to the japanese experiment, because that shit was ADORABLE.
has anyone checked on badideajeans to make sure her head didn't fall off after seeing the golden retriever dressed as the headless horseman?
not even the batman toy??
we can start a kickstarter! i don't mean to brag, but i have literally DOZENS of dollars in my bank account.
tell 'em father time sent ya! (they will have no idea what that means.)
hey, neverabadidea. my friends' band finish ticket are going to be playing in chicago on sunday, if you have any interest in seeing them.
it has been consistently been in the mid-seventies (occasionally low eighties) here for the past few weeks, and it is BULLSHIT. (very cool thing to be complaining about.) it's like the weather doesn't even know that the pumpkin spice latte is back. i'm ready for fall and cold weather and spookiness, damnit! BUT, i don't have to close at work tonight, and the tv in the sandwich shop next to my work is set to america's funniest home videos today instead of dumb old sports, so i guess we'll call today a win?
