Sometimes... just sometimes when i read those comments i think most of the people here are eagerly awaiting meltdowns of hyped artists just so that they can say "i always knew it" afterwards and claim that these artists were ALWAYS overrated blabla.
fact is: he made 2 very good albums. i'm gonna see him live in a few days. hope his liveshow is good too.
You guys are all acting as if they only press the start button and nod with their heads. jeez guys... listen to the harmonies and melodies of this song!
i'm surprised that the new doves album is really THAT good. 2009's Elbow, anyone? 3 excellent albums and then all of a sudden the 4th one is even better.
I feared Chuck Bass finally jumped the shark over the last few episodes. But at exactly 8:20 he started talking with more than one word per second again. Glad he's back.
When did it happen again? When became Deerhunter so good? I remember seeing them on their first Euro-Tour bakc in October 2007, they were pretty good, very noisy; Saw them again @ Primavera last summer and suddenly they were the best fuckin' band i've ever heard. And then Microcastle came and it was even better than this concert... So tell me: When did it happen?
Why not a Premature Evaluation about an album which hasn't leaked yet? I always see the awesome albums which are on "Heavy Rotation" and i'm constantly asking myself "Are they any good?" (the new PBJ for example...
There's a difference between "Hey I listened to snippets from the new Kevin Federline-Album; They didn't sound good, therefore I think the album's gonna tank" and "Hey I listened to snippets from the new Yo La Tengo Album; They didn't sound good, therefore I think the album's gonna tank"
You should take a break from listening to the latest Nickelback record and discover these few obscure with names like "Sonic Youth", "Dinosaur Jr." or "Mission Of Burma". Ever heard of them?
What i'd rather would want to discuss is:
I like how they explain the time traveling. Whit their logic it's impossible to go back in time and KILL HITLER because it would have already happened -> Sawyer was already present in season 1 when Claire's baby was born (of course we haven't seen him then). That's pretty logic and cool
but....!
Why didn't Desmond remember Faraday then when they met for the "first" time (their encounter on the beach, or in the jungle - wherever...) - which was the second time in reality?
