[raises hand] Why am I now regularly seeing live action stuff on Cartoon Network? Adult Swim gets a pass, I guess, but srsly, are cartoons that hard to find?
This list is surprisingly relevant. But what makes Michigan a "better indie album" than Illinois? Because I just don't think makes sense any way you spin it.
TVOTR, Fleet Foxes, Phoenix all in the same season? I seriously would not be surprised to see Animal Collective pop up near the end of the season, Mid-May.
Am I the only person excited to see that Ballistic is finally gonna be on here. It truly is almost bad and terrible and incoherent enough to the point that it's amusing to watch. Then, you watch it, and five minutes in, your head a splode.
This album is fantastic, even if it isn't as fantastic as their last two records. Fact is, they've given us some of the best music of the decade, and this is hardly a letdown.
Someone finally took my idea and put "Us" in a film. Though it looks like an opener and not a climactic song.
I expect a check in the mail in 6 to 8 weeks.
3 doesn't worry me at all. Just because the show referenced itself doesn't mean it's going to do so for nostalgia. The show never gave a shit about itself. That's the charm of it.
The question is, how will they account what will be close to a decade since the end of the series - the movie will be out next summer at the earliest. Saved by meta?
Radiohead didn't have a contract to toil under, unlike the rest of the bands you listed.
More importantly, it sold well because it's a fucking great album and dude, Radiohead.
I knew people who liked this movie. Oddly, none of them are over 17 years old, and none of them have listened to music that 1. their parents don't listen to or 2. isn't on the radio.
Just sayin'
Probably the best of the definite singles on the album (though I'd love to see "A Dustland Fairytale" get released), and they give us this? Maaaaaaaaan.
