There were some follow up stories with the various coaches involved at the schools for the past few years. I don't think any of them called the play the same thing as the announcer. In honor of the weird announcer, they should now call the play "Find the Insensitive Announcer" instead of "Hide the Midget."
I enjoyed this week's Mindy Project. It is strange to see Glenn Howerton play a sweeter person than It's Always Sunny, but I am along for the ride. Also, Mark Duplass! One of my top five Duplasses. I also just want Morgan to be happy, whether it be with Tamra or Heather or any other person he can be happy with!
Doesn't "literally" now mean both "the literal meaning" and "figuratively" now? What I am saying is that we can't control these things you guys. I for one welcome our new gif overlords.
You can see my hair in a couple parts of Shut Up and Play the Hits so I am going to show that to my family and make them VERY AWARE of that fact. Just a cool thing to do with the family.
I enjoyed this episode. Kudos to Josh! This kid IS alright. He was in that movie, you see.
I feel like Mike O'Brien's sketches always have nice jokes and interesting concepts. He did write for a while so he seems to excel at that. And 7 Minutes in Heaven is a real treat! However, I feel of the new cast members, his character/ impression work isn't the best. It's a small concern, because I still enjoy his sketches, but I think if, say, Beck Bennet ran around interviewing bugs, it might have been more of a hit.
Aidy Bryant also was very funny this week.
My favorite illusion was when he went to the office's of People magazine and tricked them into thinking Adam Levine was the sexiest man alive. He used playing cards to do so, you see.
Aren't there a million species in the deep sea that scientists don't even know about? How would they come up with that number? Do they just feed people a lot of fried food before bed and then have them count the weird monsters they dream about?
John Milhiser, more like John More-hiser please!
I watched the episode live, and all I could think during the music sketches was "How is this supposed to go viral, with all the licensing issues?!" Always be thinking about going viral.
My job's computer system whatchamacalit has been down all day, which is problematic of course. This is complicated by the fact that they haven't hired any technical people in a while, so we don't have any tech support other than the company ones located in a different place. So that is strange.
Also, Larry David and I are on the same page regarding the New York Knickerbockers especially if these Iman Shumpert trade rumors come to fruition.
I had a pretzel snack and a diet Dr. Pepper, though. It's the small things.
Good for Elizabeth Olsen! One concerning thing for me as a nerd, is that people might get confused if she and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are playing a married couple in Godzilla and twins in Avengers 2. There are some weird alternate timeline Avengers titles though that go full The Dreamers on their relationship, but I don't know if Marvel movies would want to deal with that.
The biggest problem with the Thor franchise is they don't make enough jokes about the boomerang properties of Mjolnir (the cool name for his hammer only known by super cool people with super cool interest) and Chris Hemsworth being Australian. Seems like there's a lot of wasted laughs there.
"That's not a knife. This is a knife. Just kidding it is a hammer that returns like a boomerang. Foster's!"
The Greatest Event in Television History 3 was pretty good. There were a lot of sports happening and it was on right after the sports, so I think Adam Scott should team up with all the Sports Commissioners to make that a more regular tradition.
I am confused about New Girl's direction. I think everyone anticipated that Damon Wayans' return would mean a conflict with Winston, given how his season was going so far. But it seems to be more of a Nick/ Jess barrier. I thought the conflict between them was going to come from Nick growing up a bit and Jess not being sure if she liked grown up Nick as much. However, I am not a New Girl writer!
Remember in the pilot when Coach goes to Jess and asks her to help him be more understanding and civil to the women at his personal training job? I wonder if they will bring that back.
Speaking of former Happy Endings cast members, it's always good to see D-Rose on TV and by D-Rose I mean Dave Rose and I mean he showed up on Always Sunny.
I found out that sunflower seeds have different flavors today. I tried the barbecue flavor but I am intrigued about the chili lime flavor. It's flavor, jump into flavor.
I think Kentucky also has twin brothers on their team this year. With that and this madcap shot, we are only a few steps away from a classic sports comedy blockbuster.
