deeply into this
seriously - wtf is this?
Wow this is great. I was really bummed out by Belong given how much I loved the first album. Didn't expect much from this song, but I love it.
sun and shade was a really awesome album, but bend beyond has "find them empty"
yes! those are absolute hype jams
had another listen just to make sure - this song is bland as hell
this album is going to be very forgettable
this doesn't have ANY of my favorites - "leslie anne levine" and "the bachelor and the bride" are by far my top two
this is about as disco as disco can be
awesome - my favorite song on the album too!
when i first listened earlier today i was like "meh. better than expected." then i listened a couple more times and was like "ok...ok! OK!" now, i'm wine drunk and all "YES!! can they really be back?!"
best video of the year
good list - i'd have to add wild belle's 'keep you' and team spirit's 'jesus, he's alright'
My favorites thus far: 1. Kurt Vile 2. Unknown Mortal Orchestra 3. The Growlers 4. Foxygen 5. Deerhunter 6. White Fence 7. Devendra Banhart 8. Shannon and the Clams 9. Vampire Weekend 10. Jacco Gardner MBV, Parquet Courts, Beliefs, and Nightlands are in the running too. This year has been especially fantastic for new releases, and I don't say that every year (I don't think so anyway...)
yes absolutely! my favorite track on there. pensacola, sleepwalking, and thm
wow - sounds like a different band
everything about this is working for me. it's actually a little reminiscent of "evening sun" i think.
i could get into that. great names there.
OMG TAME IMPALA IS SO OVER!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry to Coke for their delicious caramel cola beverage, sorry to Taco Bell for the bitchin' "Live Mas" tagline, and sorry to Red Bull/Doritos for obvious reasons.
this is excellent! really like the eastern vibes woven in and out. the song lengths are perfect, too. it's really tough to keep a 6+ minute song from dragging.
ok, ok, i was wrong. no objections here. good job, babies.
just going to venture to guess that Exile is NOT #1...let's see...
land of the stream, home of the brave
because it sounds like top 40 radio in '91 - whenever i listen to haim i imagine i'm picking out cassette tapes while driving to the beach with my mom in her '87 toyota celica
i would have believed you if you said this was a new alec ounsworth song...or if it was a how i met your mother remix
buy a juicer, man. fruit will run your paycheck into the ground!
new recording of shallow isn't as good - why dey do dat?
stroke me. stroke me. really excited for this album now.
huge guilty pleasure band - i'll probably listen to this 20x today
N2U isn't even the best song on Idlewild...the fuck
