Don't get me wrong, I really loved Christoph Waltz as well. But, was it just me, or did Leo steal every scene he was in, including those with Christoph? Just me?
Leonardo DeCaprio got robbed.
When I didn't see it in 50-21 yesterday, I thought for sure it'd be in the top 20. I don't understand. Did everyone just forget?
I laughed a lot at the Kanye West impression during the otherwise awful Tony Bennett sketch. And because I'm juvenile, I also laughed at the hemorrhoid jokes. But yes, the Royal Family Doctor sketch was hands down the best. I love, love, love Martin Short.
Breaking Bad jumped the shark? What exactly does a show have to do in your eyes to NOT jump the shark?
Totally voted for Justified. Nobody talks about that show, and it's a goddamn shame.
I have a soft spot for those guys because the lead singer was the singer for The Format, which was a fucking fantastic band. I'm glad to see him make it big, even if I don't really care for the new sound.
My favorite is "Can't Make a Sound" from Figure 8. Wouldn't expect it to make most top 10 lists, but good God that song gets me every time. Something about the opening line "I have become a silent movie / the hero killed the clown / can't make a sound." *shivers*
I imagine getting a talking to from Billy Connolly could be quite frightening. Of course, the main image I have of Billy Connolly is from Boondock Saints (woof), so...
How does abuse have anything to do with the perceived quality of either person's music? I don't give a fuck what they do for a living. They're equally wrong and fucked up.
If he hadn't specifically told me he was rapping, I might've thought he was doing a really bad impression of Bill Cosby teaching a Calculus class.
Louie not being nominated for best comedy series is unconscionable. I also don't understand the lack of love for Justified. Walter Goggins' performance as Boyd Crowder is right up there with the likes of Cranston, Paul, Hamm, Dinklage, etc. I'm also pretty sure you could've narrowed down that list of supporting actors from Modern Family and squeezed Nick Offerman in there. Come on, guys.
I LOL'ed at King's X. Come on, guys, what about Dogman?
Can there really be enough Archer?
From what I've been able to piece together, it sounds like pretty much every other Aaron Sorkin show. Which means I'm totally in.
I think "I drive electric" might be the douchiest response to this I could possibly imagine.
10 bucks seems unreasonable to you?
This has always been my argument. It's a classic example of the fraud triangle on a massive scale. All one needs is incentive, opportunity, and rationalization. The internet gives us that in spades. I can get any piece of media I want for free if I know where to look for it. And there's an extremely slim chance I'll ever get caught. What keeps me from just going for it? Stealing is wrong. I guess expecting people to do the right thing is idealistic in this case, which is actually pretty sad.
Have you been talking to my girlfriend, because she said almost the exact same thing after last night's fiasco. "I will never watch another minute of this show." Wait...HAVE you been talking to my girlfriend? Gabe?
Is it just me, or is it somehow worse that she sideswiped a cop and ran over a curb while sober? I'd rather be drunk than a dumbass. Being drunk is temporary.
True dat. Some of the most fun I've ever had is watching playoff football at a local sports bar. Everyone goes nuts at the same time. It's camaraderie with complete strangers.
Ugh. Nevermind, internet.
Except in English.
This is what I think about every time I think about Donna Summer.

Awesome! I was bummed when it disappeared. I was really into the characters.
I thought this show got cancelled a long time ago. I started watching it when it first came out, and then it disappeared. Wasn't it originally on a different channel or something?
He'll be back after he finds Hack Scudder. Tell management to be patient.
I admittedly haven't watched any of the new season of HIMYM, but it seems like they abandoned the premise of the show a long time ago. It's basically a slightly better version of Friends at this point. They need to introduce the mother at the beginning of the next season and wrap it up, or the "better version" part of that goes away.
I love Mindy Kaling, so The Mindy Project is a must-see for me. Though apparently not for NBC.
And then she got annoyed with me for talking.
I actually said aloud to my girlfriend "why don't they just cut out his tongue?"
Oh god. Thank god for DVR because I had to pause the show when this happened. I laughed for a solid minute at least.
Agreed. Also, the scene where Paul Rudd asks Leslie how to vote was funny, but I also kind of wish they'd let that emotional moment breathe for a little while longer.
I'm going to assume that you're not poking fun at people who say things like that. You can't see it, but I'm rolling my eyes so hard at you right now.
