"Bowie and Radiohead are the only two holdouts"
No, Eno is representing the Bowie/Eno axis that produced the song Gabriel covered. The holdouts are Neil Young and Radiohead.
"Then he got the thing mastered at Abbey Road. These are boss moves..."
Well, not so much a 'boss move' as something anyone can do.: http://www.abbeyroadonlinemastering.com/
And honestly, you'd probably get better results working closely with a mastering engineer who'll take the time to really properly suit your music, rather than using an anonymous and expensive-for-what-you-get online service. But then, throwing that name in there obviously did hook your attention, so I guess that's really what you're paying for.
Not sure how anyone can legitimately declare anything "best performance of the festival" since it's literally impossible to see every set to make an informed decision, but the best set for me was Swans.
Ray has "most of the songwriting credits and therefore most of the money" because he did most of the work. Dave threw in a few good tunes here and there but be real, without Ray's songwriting the Kinks would have been as forgotten as thousands of other 60s beat combos.
