Tired and disorganized, always sleeping at the wrong time... In other words, you are one of us. Don't ever change.
Off-topic, Brigita, but when I saw Meadow and AJ yesterday, I thought of you! A 60 second reboot? It was my favorite commercial of the day. (For the record: Quasimodo predicted all of this.)
Re: "Because The Night," Is it the song itself, or the performances? Do you like Bruce's version any better?
A bandname mondegreen. That is next-level, prefab. Anybody else got one?
When we're reminded of someone's passing, we're supposed to keep in mind their contributions, character, and goodness that they brought into the world. I try to do this whenever I hear a recording by or read something about Blind Melon. But invariably, the first thing that I recall is how a radio talk show host went on a mini-tirade and displayed zero empathy over a troubled young person's particularly tragic death. It was 20 hours after the news was reported, and it was so smugly callous and dismissive that I scarcely could believe it. This is on me. I have to work on accentuating the positives and not letting the aforementioned memory be the first thing that pops into my head. The kid deserves better. So I'll start today by keeping in mind: I would much rather have sat down for a coffee with a guy like Shannon Hoon than with a guy like Rush Limbaugh.
Where ya been, young scribe? Good to see you.
Very sorry about your aunt, friend cstolliver. Casey will get you through the trip, and we'll be here when you get back.
You might be underestimating the situation. I’d better get moving now on the new servers.
OK, everyone, all together: "Second dance... same as the first!"
Exactly my situation, Link. Have meant to get to this one forever. We should schedule a virtual listening party. Who else is in?
Hey good friends, Working on the Tuesday/Thursday thang this weekend. Good stuff is coming. Thanks to those who are encouraging me on. Whether at work or rest, I hope that you all have a great Sat/Sun, Thanks for your good company this week. Please be careful, take care of yourselves and each other, and good on you all.
Whelp, there we go. Now I've got my earworm for the weekend. (Not the song. I'm referring to The Pride of Paris' "HEY, LAAAAAAAAADDY...")
For the record; there will be no such thing at our impending Tuesdays-and-Thursdays hang.
Really. Puzzling when you consider that in the early 1960's, we were at peak DDT.
nope... There's a clue in the way that the redaction is formatted...
[cue the four measure drum-solo, followed by the fuzz guitar]
