This NSFW French-language trailer (via TwentyFourBit) for Joann Sfar’sSerge Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life makes us want to see the film. Mainly because Eric Elmosnino seems to inhabit Gainsbourg the way Sam Riley made like Ian Curtis in Control. Also: Nudity.

NSFW-music related video clips are having the best week ever.
Damn, I want to see this, too. There’s no US or UK equivalent to Gainsbourg. Among the things I hope to see in this film are how he tricked France Gall into singing dirty songs, how his song submission for the Eurovision Song Contest was rejected by France but later won for Luxembourg and his duet with Charlotte about incest.
And Laetitia Casta (former Victoria’s Secret model) as Brigitte Bardot… yum, let’s hope she can act.
Looks good, if a bit romanticised. Really does look like an excellent performance by the guy playing Serge.
