Noel and Damon

Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn took the stage together last night in London at the Royal Albert Hall to play a charity event for Teenage Cancer Trust. The former frontmen of Oasis and Blur collaborated for a version of Blur’s “Tender.” According to NME, the performance was a surprise to the sold-out audience; Albarn started the show by saying “Noel? Noel?” during what was originally supposed to be a set with Graham Coxon, Paul Weller and American author Michael Horowitz. Check out the video below.

  1. just tried to post a comment and it aint workin whut!!>??

    • I just want to start a dialogue.
Who the fuck even cares about either Gallagher other than NME anymore?
Seriously. Thats all they report, its fucked.

Gallagher is a pompous cunt who thinks saying stupid shit makes him pr or something and also thinks he’s still relevant in todays music, get over yourself Noel/Liam the 90′s are over no one gives a shit about your britpop. Also they both act like two year olds, immature fucks. Gr.

  2. Noel wasnt the frontman and it wasnt a surprise. Noel was the curator of the event and the performance had been rumored for weeks leading up to the show,

  3. Best thing Noel has done in a long while.

This guy used to fart out hits! The Masterplan was a fucking b-side!
And now what? It’s so depressing.

I think Noel and Damon need to collaborate on something, for Noels sake.

    • I don’t know if that’s fair. His first solo album has some great tracks, and the last Oasis record at least had great singles.

      • I’m in agreeance with Chipotle. Every Oasis album, no matter how flawed overall, has a handful of gems. And Noel’s solo album is pretty solid I think. I for one liked it much better than Beady Eye.
