Here is a previously unheard track from M.I.A. called “Only 1 U.” We still know very little about her fourth full-length Matangi, so without a tracklist, we can’t say whether this comes from the album or not. But considering its message (“there’s only one you”) and the record’s delayed release for being “too positive,” it would make sense that this is another taste of what’s to come. The stream comes from UK Internet radio station NTS and starts at the 2:00 mark. The cut doesn’t hit nearly as hard as “Bring The Noize,” but you can hear how it stacks up below.
