Eazy-E

This year’s Rock The Bells started yesterday in San Bernardino, CA. One of the most anticipated performances was a hologram of Eazy-E collaborating with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The seven-minute performance included renditions of “Boyz In the Hood” and “Straight Out Of Compton.” In an interview with the LA Times about the making of the Eazy-E hologram, Rock the Bells founder Chang Weisberg said he was inspired by last year’s Coachella, where Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg played with a hologram of Tupac. Read the full interview here, and watch yesterday’s entire 7-minute performance below.

  1. i know it seems like just yesterday, but tupac was at last year’s coachella

  2. They should have hologramed in the 1995 version of Bone Thugs too

  3. The video cut off before then, but I hope to God that after Eazy went off they segued directly into “Crossroads.”
