Cloud Nothings - "I'm Not Part Of Me" video

Today, Cloud Nothings release their revved-up and excellent new album Here And Nowhere Else, and they’ve also got a music video for “I’m Not Part Of Me,” their supercharged punker of a first single. The video, from director John Ryan Manning, revolves around the idea of a slumber-party Cloud Nothings singalong. That, in itself, would already be hallucinatory enough, but then drugs get involved, and things get progressively weirder. It’s a fun and unpredictable video, and you can watch it below.

Here And Nowhere Else is out now on Carpark/Mom + Pop. Stream it here.

  1. A bunch of high school-age-looking girls doing drugs and (based on the above screen shot) angling down their cleavage in front of the camera. Well, this certainly sends a great message out to the kids…

  2. this is what passes as rock these days? a crappy rehash of crappy 90s pop rock.

  3. I’m sorry but this is a terrible music video. the song still slays though

  4. One significant question for the author: is it a fact that its ‘a slumber-party Cloud Nothings singalong’ or is it your interpertaion? If it really is a singalong, could I have some reference? Question asked just out of interest, please dont take it as any offense.
