Alvvays got some attention last year for the sunny dream pop that’s captured well on their new single “Archie, Marry Me.” The song comes from their self-titled debut album out soon on Polyvinyl. The track’s title appears in the chorus as Molly Rankin’s lovely, romantic plea, but the band’s heavy guitar attack adds just a little bittersweetness. Listen to it below and check them out on tour.

Tour Dates:
05/06 London, UK @ Ace Hotel
05/08 Brighton, UK @ Great Escape Festival @ Blind Tiger
05/09 Brighton, UK @ Great Escape Festival @ The East Win
06/21 Toronto, ON @ Young & Dundas Square (NXNE)

Alvvays is out this summer via Polyvinyl.

  1. When is this album coming out? I love their song “Adult Diversion” but I can’t find it anywhere (other than Soundcloud).

    • been waiting for this one since autumn. saw them in moncton in november and bought their tape – i would wager the album drops early june, but that’s mere speculation. whenever it comes out i will be all over it.

  2. They opened up for Yuck in NY a few months ago and really impressed me. This song really stuck with me, glad to see it getting some attention. Looking very forward to their album.
