Every year the A.V. Club does its Undercover series, which begins with a big list of songs and each week allows a band to pick one of those songs to cover. The catch is, once that song is covered, it is crossed off the list, and the choices become more limited. Wye Oak now have gotten the fifth edition of Undercover off to an incredible start with a version of Kate Bush’s all-time classic “Running Up That Hill.” As it happens, we posted a fan video recently of Wye Oak playing the song live when it was in a “practice stage.” Check out both the final version of the cover as well as Kate Bush’s original below.
