Damon managed to bring the better part of the expansive crew that lined the Coachella stage for Gorillaz’ headlining set to Colbert’s tiny Comedy Central studio in Manhattan, here working through the buoyantly demented disco of “Stylo,” armed as in Indio with Bobby Womack and the Clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon (and again less one Mos Def). After the downer-days of the Good, The Bad & The Queen it’s good to see Damon get riled up (watch him lose it after Womack’s first pass), and Stephen’s interview with Albarn and animator Jamie Hewlett is both Jungian and amusing. Here’s a little interview action, yes as Jung says we all have Damons:

Plastic Beach is out via Virgin.
