For a couple nights before Christmas, KROQ’s putting on their Almost Acoustic Christmas event at the Gibson Ampitheater in Los Angeles. One evening’s heavier (AFI, Offspring, etc.) and one’s only heavy emotionally (the Cure, the Killers, Death Cab, Franz Ferdinand, Vampire Weekend), but both feature Scott Weiland: He appears with STP 12/13, by his lonesome 12/14. Hopefully he lays off the eggnog.
