Outside Lands Festival Lineup 2010

Last year Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and the Beastie Boys headlined San Fransisco’s second Outside Lands festival. This year’s lineup also tries to fit between a jam and a rock space. Case in point: Saturday’s headliner is Furthur (featuring the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir and Phil Lesh), with The Strokes (further cashing in), and My Morning Jacket just before. Kings Of Leon, Phoenix, and Social Distortion headline on Sunday. Other notables: Cat Power, Vieux Farke Touré, Toyko Police Club, Janelle Monáe, and the always excellent Wild Beasts, who I assume named themselves Wild Beasts because the Pimps of Joytime was already taken. 1. this is just an awful lineup. its all been going downhill for outside lands since they had to replace beastie boys with tenacious d last year…

  2. Electric Six is the best band playing.
