At the end of July we posted a demo of “Safe Hands,” the track that opens Badly Drawn Boy’s forthcoming It’s What I’m Thinking Pt.1: Photographing Snowflakes. You’ll find “Too Many Miracles” on there, too. Damon trades his tuque for branches and leaves in the song’s video.
It’s What I’m Thinking Pt.1: Photographing Snowflakes is out 10/4 in the UK via BDB and 10/12 in the States via The End.

i don’t hate this. i really liked ‘is there nothing we could do’ as a return to his sound, since everything after ‘about a boy’ was utter shit with the rare exception of a decent song here and there. this is good, though i’m still hesitant to think the new album will be great.
the new album isn’t great, but definitely not bad. I think it’s his best since about a boy.
Sheesh, what a whiner.
Yeah, Badly Drawn Boy is the shit when he’s on, but when he’s off…phew. Still, he has some amazing stuff. Here’s hoping the album is good. Lovin’ the song.
