I’m listening to two new CDs on repeat today.

The Bees play great ’60s psych pop. Very retro and catchy. They go by A Band Of Bees on this side of pond. Hopefully the sophomore album will be released here. It’s much better than their debut, which didn’t blow me away. Listen to “

.”

Radio 4′s Stealing Of A Nation will make your booty shake. Watch the video for “Party Crashers” which is not even close to being the best track on the album: Real | Windows Media. These guys put on a great live show as well.

  1. Loves me that Bees record, i must admit i’m dissapointed w/ the new Radio 4 a good deal though. I loved Gotham a ton, but i think this new one could have used a lil less dance and a lil more of TEH RAWK.

  2. los bees are going to be on the next gorillaz album…

I liked the Bees track, but the Radio 4 track sounded a bit too much like a progressive house track with a dude singing over it.

  4. scott, i love that justin reads your blog.

  5. I think Mary-Kate told him about it. I know — how cool!
