The brothers Jarman got censored for their “Men’s Needs” and flickered black ‘n’ white against a wall for “Moving Pictures.” Now, following the cartoon footsteps of other recent animated videos and bands, the Cribs go Gorillaz, rocking and decomposing living dead-style for “Don’t You Wanna Be Relevant?” We ask ourselves that every morning.

“Don’t You Wanna Be Relevant?” is a new tune paraded out for Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever‘s third single, a double A Side with “Our Bovine Public,” which comes with it’s own video. This one’s more living, less dead … with lots of autographing.

Are sure you’re well acquainted with your copy of Men’s Needs, but if you needs some more Cribs (beyond the Banhart sort), “Don’t You Wanna Be Relevant?/Our Bovine Public” is out 10/29 on Wichita.
