Natasha Khan’s newest Two Suns video treatment features the same slo-mo dreaminess as Letterman-approved “Daniel,” but with less of a sinister (and modern dancing and Karate Kid) feel. New single “Pearl’s Dream,” the track she chose to close out her pre-encore set at Bowery and MHOW, gives us Khan in form-fitting garb (complete with wings borrowed from Brandon Flowers), a homemade solar system, lots of smoke and steam, and a cagey wolf. Yeasayer’s Ira Wolf Tuton plays bass on the track (as well as “Daniel”), but we’re not sure if it’s a reference to him, or just because every good new age-y pop video should include a wolf. Clearly in the know, a second Khan wearing a blond wig and dressed for sadistic business, applauds the performance.
