We mentioned David Lynch in relation to the video for “Permanent Scar,” the lead track from the self-titled debut by O+S because the duo of Orenda Fink and Scalpelist (aka Cedric LeMoyne of Remy Zero) namechecks the man’s spirit in relation to their music. Also because it’s true. After that, we saw Fink enter a glittery fairyland during her vocal turn for Japancakes’ “Behind The Mountains.” In the more straightforward “We Do What We Want To” clip, the warping images of the players are ghostly, yes, but the patchwork of samples and Fink’s vocal lines are all the duo really needs to achieve the desired ambiance.

Whoa I LOVE this!
Beautiful full-bodied video for an equally full-bodied beautiful song. Both haunting and intriguing. Would love to see this projected onto big screens in intimate settings with tinkling glasses and intimate seductive conversations.
