Drake gets top billing in this six-minute collaboration for the soundtrack to More Than A Game, the forthcoming documentary about LeBron James, but it’s the long awaited union of Wayne and Slim Shady that makes this track especially curious. It’s always fun to hear the biggest talents in any genre on a single track (“Swagger Like Us“-style) even if Eminem is still on that awful torture-porn kick. Consider this the Mount Rushmore of basketball documentary soundtrack songs.

“Forever” is produced by Boi-1da, who has a number in his name, and will get a music video directed by Hype Williams this fall.

    This song has been playing on Hot 97 for weeks. WEEKS. Thanks for breaking the news Stereogum.

  2. Sorry Anon…this song actually premiered yesterday. Therefore it’s impossible for Hot 97 to play a song (for weeks) that wasn’t out yet.
