Cass McCombs – “Bradley Manning”

Cass McCombs has already released two albums this year, including the very recent Album Of The Week Humor Risk, but he’s not done yet. McCombs recently recorded “Bradley Manning,” a story-song about the American soldier currently facing sentencing for giving information to WikiLeaks. The song splits the different between McCombs’ own diffuse style and the classically concrete protest-song form, and McCombs made the very lefty move of debuting it on Democracy Now. Grab it below.
