David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label has Stereogum CMJ party alum Delicate Steve down for a new album this May. It’s called Positive Force, which is a fair LP name coming from someone calling himself Delicate Steve. For the record, Steve does it all, writing, playing, recording, producing every moment. Positive Force is the studio-based followup to the more bedroom-oriented Wondervisions, and its first single is a celebratory and rhythmic slide-guitar instrumental that does the album title proud in sound, nodding to Sly & The Family Stone along the way. “Afria Talks To You” is downloadable file if you click to read more:
