Doesn't Stereogum usually do a reader's poll at the end of the year? Anyway, here's mine: 1.Cymbals Eat Guitars - LOSE 2.The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream 3.Iceage - Plowing into the Field of Love 4.Ariel Pink - Pom Pom 5.Run the Jewels - RTJ2 6.St Vincent - S/T 7.Sun Kil Moon - Benji 8.Sharon Van Etten - Are We There 9.Pefume Genius - Too Bright 10.Parquet Courts - Sunbathing Animal
I'm genuinely not sure if this is supposed to be good or bad.
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/u2-songs-of-innocence-20140911 I'm just gonna leave this here...
I love how much metal is on here. That Nux Vomica record rules.
Album: Vampire Weekend-Modern Vampires of the City Song: Chvrches-Recover
This is surprisingly bearable.
"Wishes" should really be here.
As many people have said, this has been an amazing year for music so far, and I'm sure there's a lot more great stuff to come. My favorite so far is Vampire Weekend-Modern Vampires of the city, and I also really liked Wakin on a Pretty Daze, I Once was an Eagle, and m b v.
I'm really loving Hudson. It sounds like absolutely nothing else they've done.
And right when i posted that, this happened. http://www.svtplay.se/klipp/984960/titta-the-knife-full-of-fire
There's one on Grooveshark that's been up for a while. http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/Shaking+The+Habitual/8636059
Tame Impala needs to be higher.
I was most let down by Swing Lo Magellan, although it's still a pretty great album.
Abbey Road. The side two medley is perfect.
According to the set list, they didn't play Fireworks. Is it incomplete?
I'm pleasantly surprised that they chose Sister. I've always liked it more than Daydream Nation.
I think Misunderstood is a pretty good choice, but am I the only one who despises Dawned on Me?
They definitely have Animal Collective beaten on cover art.
That Lcd Soundsystem album got an 8.2...
The 70's and 80's lists were alright, but seriously? No Pavement, My Bloody Valentine or Neutral Milk Hotel?
In my opinion, it's one of the best albums of all time.
