I dunno, i thought 'go' was awesome song but i guess im in the minority. whatever she feels is right as an artist is her perrogative but i wouldnt be mad to hear more songs like that. at least blood diamonds has been makin some moves in the edm/banger field

This list went from 'alright' to 'fucking awful' once I realized 3/4ths of the top songs are from How It Feels.. and NONE of them are 'Every Shining Time You Arrive' especially because you harp on and on about 'emoness' and its arguable their most heartwrenching track

she got booked on SNL because her daddy basically bought her the looks, the story and the buzz to get a spot. not because she's talented or busted her ass for it. put lana del rey in a pair of slacks and a button up shirt, call her lizzy grant, and de-botox her whole face and then see how good people find the two songs she's released. bet you she wouldn't end up on one of the most watched shows on weekend night cable.

Yeah, if you don't like the Beatles, that's perfectly valid, but that pink haired chick said 'I don't understand the big deal,' which irked me. How the hell do you not at least understand the context of why people give them so much praise? They managed to birth/inspire/reinforce damn near every genre of rock you see today AFTER they became hugely popular off of conventional pop music. They experimented so wildly that it's impossible to pigeonhole them into any category. They transcended music as chart hits and every musician who plays rock owes a massive debt to them, whether they like it or not. Oh yeah and they did this all in 10 years and ended the band at high points in each member's talent and output. Fuckin' respect.
