hey guys, just heard this new band, Noah and the Whale. im sorry to say they are not very good. other than that, Canada knows life. It's our Motto
Wicked ! like a day at the races
so thats what we get to look at for the next year and a half better than last time i guess
very cool. she just looks a little mad
great stuff, new album will be amazing of course that write up looks like it was written by there label though, a little too formal maybe, come on stereogum
i smoke and i am constantly blown away (pun intended) by the stupidity and moronic sense of the entire culture. The day you find me reading high times is the day i quite smoking. Ohh and harold and kumar while high is alright, not great but better than expected.
mabey i'm a little bias because i saw her perform last night (which by the way was completely amazing) but why all the backhanded comments on jukebox. It's a solid album that translates great to a live show and i must say when i met her after the show she couldn't have been any more gracious or beautiful.
i think thats shay hess (sp?) she did some of the interviews for the sxsw coverage on stereogum and i think she was on AOL somewhere. ohhh and this is a nice jam
beautiful the contrasting melodies bring out such interesting elements ggggreat work
this song honestly scares me. it first came on as i was entering a dark park all alone and i had to change it. i haven't gotten all the way through it yet thanks xiu xiu, anything that scares me is worth commending
i completely fell for this version, the fact that i'd hardly heard the original made little difference, its got its own personality and its own essence. Bell, consider me a fan ps. by god you are quite gorgeous as well :D:D
boring?? billy joel really should cover it
so they're signed to thurston moore's label which is a subsidiary of universal and they're getting fucked over like that. You could chose practically any rap song at random and i've got a feeling its a bit more 'violent' I guess they don't think the 'indie kids' could handle it
not so sure about the bright eyes inclusion, I personally woulda gone with 'apologies to the queen' or even 'aligator' by the national. its actually not that bad of a list though i've missed havn't heard them all. im young. sue me
wow, i've conciously avoided all things that have the words 'new' and 'portishead' because i wanted the whole album experience but this is amazing. if this isn't the final version then yeah, that synth should be all over the place
wowza, if them dates is right then ill be front row at the first show score!
1984 i think ohh and thats a killer song
