In our interview with Matthew Sisken (aka Gambles) last year, he mentioned his deep love and appreciation for Majical Cloudz, and it sounds as if he’s taken some cues from that group on “You Won’t Remind It,” the new single from his upcoming EP, I Can’t Keep Still When It Comes To You. While his music previously consisted of fragile folk arrangements, now he’s working over droning synths and drum machines (mixed by BEYONCÉ producer BOOTS) that still maintain the spirit of his earlier work.
