Only Real is a UK songwriter who put out an EP that showcased his spacey bedroom productions and half-rapped vocals, but since then he’s been in Atlanta working on his debut album with Ben Allen (the same Ben Allen who produced Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest, and Youth Lagoon’s Wondrous Bughouse). His recent single “Cadillac Girl” now has been given a bass-heavy rework by Harry Fraud, whose collaborations with Action Bronson last year led to one of our favorite songs of 2013.
